DAY 2, Mon Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.*: BANGKOK DAY 3, Tues Morning at leisure. This afternoon, enjoy a half day city & temples tour. This tour includes three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 1/2 tons of solid gold); Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings; Wat Benjamaborpitr, the White Marble Temple, one of the finest examples of Thai architecture. This evening choose an optional dinner with Thai music and dancers ($24) (B): BANGKOK DAY 4, Wed Full day at leisure or choose an optional full day Floating Market and Rose Garden with lunch. Begin at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, a very attractive place to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying of fruits and vegetables from small boats. Next stop, the Thai Village Cultural Show. Over 150 performers will vividly portray a fascinating cross section of Thailand’s culture, heritage and way of life. The 60 minute, action-packed show is highlighted by exciting displays of Thai marital arts, Thai boxing and sword fighting-combat skills, which date back over 600 years. Enjoy the romantic and joyful rituals of the traditional Thai wedding ceremony. Observe the rich pageantry of Buat Naag - the ceremony of ordination into the Buddhist monkhood. You will be entertained by the dances of the regional tribes. You will also have the opportunity to see elephants at work as they still do today in the teak forests of northern Thailand ($44) (B): BANGKOK DAY 5, Thurs This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Balance of the day at leisure (B): PHUKET DAY 6, Fri Enjoy a full day at leisure (B): PHUKET DAY 7, Sat This morning enjoy a half day tour of Phuket. Visit the highlight places in Phuket such as; the Century Old Sino-Portuguese building along Dee-book road and Talang road. Head to the south of Phuket to visit Chalong Temple and Gypsy village at Rawai beach. Next, continue to Phromtape Cape to enjoy the unique scenery of renowned Phromtape Peninsula. Drive around the island, visit Kata, Karon, Patong and Kamala beach. Afternoon at leisure (B): PHUKET DAY 8, Sun Full day at leisure or choose an optional full day Phang Nga Bay and Lawa Island with lunch. This full day excursion takes you to the uniquely spectacular seascape of Phang Nga, one of nature's most unusual and beautiful locations in the world. This was the site of the James Bond movie "The Man With The Golden Gun." Travel on speedboats through the mangrove jungles and silent caves, with cliff faces that rise straight up from the crystal clear blue sea. In the afternoon, visit Koh Pannyi Sea Gypsy Island. This remarkable village is built over the water on stilts ($52) (B): PHUKET DAY 9, Mon Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Bangkok.
