 DAY 1, Tues Depart USA to Vietnam. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2, Wed Arrive in Hanoi. Transfer independently to your hotel or select an optional arrival transfer ($50 per car, 1-2 passengers). Balance of the day at leisure: HANOI

DAY 3, Thurs Day at leisure in Hanoi or select an optional half day tour of the city including the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and the Old Quarter. View Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and the Opera House ($21). Balance of the day at leisure (B): HANOI

DAY 4, Fri Day at leisure in Hanoi or select an optional half day tour to Thay and Tay Phuong Pagoda located 25 miles from the city ($38). Balance of the day at leisure (B): HANOI

DAY 5, Sat Day at leisure in Hanoi or select an optional full day tour to Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. "Dragon descending to the sea," as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottos. Enjoy a relaxing four-hour boat trip through Halong Bay including a visit to one of the caves at Hang Dau Go, Bo Nau or Thien Cung. Return to Hanoi ($59) (B): HANOI

DAY 6, Sun Day at leisure in Hanoi or select an optional full day tour to the Perfume Pagoda (Chua Huong), accessible only by boat and considered the most beautiful pagoda in Vietnam ($46) (B): HANOI

DAY 7, Mon Day at leisure to do some last minute souvenir shopping or to tour Hanoi independently (B): HANOI
